I had an excellent first experience at Take 5 Oil Change in Tyler, TX (451 S SE Loop 323). My husband wa at Christus Hospital having a back procedure, and I decided to surprise him by getting the oil changed while I waited.
So I had the pleasure of experiencing the best customer service from West. He was polite, informative, and so professional. I did not like how his manager was rude to him & his other employees in front of customers and upset that they give discounts to people who have waited a long time. I feel sorry for them. Hey West! Im rooting for you to take your excellent skills where you wont be talked down to in front of customers. My car runs great now because of you. Thank you!

I went to this location because I had a 25 % off coupon and it was close to my daughter’s daycare, so it was a convenient stop on the way home. An employee greeted me right away and told me it would be a 10/15 minute wait, absolutely no problem. It looked like they were short on staff. He guided me into the bay and I sat there for no more than the estimated time. After I had sat there and they started checking me in, they told me they wouldn’t be able to do the service because they didn’t have my filter in stock and didn’t know when it would be. They were extremely kind and I will return, though maybe if someone is having to wait, it would be helpful to check and make sure at least the needed parts are in stock before they wait for service. Again, not a complaint, everyone was very kind. Just a helpful tip to save someone else some time.
