Oil Change in San Antonio, TX at Take 5 #196

Will definitely come back to this location! Jayden and his coworker with the long, wavy hair (don’t remember his name) were super friendly and respectful and made sure every customer was tended to, even if their car wasn’t actively being worked on. Even though it was busy, they remained calm and relaxed. You can tell they like their jobs and enjoy working with each other. Jayden didn’t pressure me into adding additional services. Just made me aware of things to possibly add on in the future. Great employees!

I was disappointed. i was there for 40 min.the guy asked me 3 times if I wanted the same oil as last time.it seemed like he wasn't sure on how to do an oil change.he had to ask the other worker where the air filter was because he said it all looked foreign. The other worker.Felix was great and I asked him to finish the rest of my service. I said the other guy didn't seem to know what he was doing.

I have a classic car, and Ethan and Alfonso went out of their way to take care of me and the specialized needs of my car. I brought my own special oil and oil filter, and they were happy to use what I brought. They found a way to put my car in the computer system, even though my old car has a VIN with only 14 characters and their computer expects a modern VIN with 17 characters. And they were friendly and helpful. I could tell they enjoy their jobs.

We were extremely surprised with the positive customer service from the crew. The young man that was the point person was knowledgeable and polite. Same with the young lady. And we saw her deep cleaning with a rag. Th leader was also on point.

I drove up recently to Take 5 on Thousand Oaks ready to purchase an oil change. The young lady attendant checked my vehicle thoroughly and assured me that the oil was fine and that I was good for another 3,000 miles. You see, I had been going off the recommended sticker date instead of the mileage. I am always impressed by the efficiency and honesty of the service at Take 5. Needless to say, I left that day with my tires and fluids checked without having to spend a cent! Update: 02/01/2026. It's Sunday with 45 mins. before closing at store #196. There is only one attendant left. Despite how busy it became with 3 vehicles lined up for service, the young attendant managed to welcome each car owner with a smile and professional courtesy.. I noticed immediately how effective and diligent he was in servicing the car in front of me. Now, it was my turn. Terrence, the attendant, checked the car's fluids, filter, tire pressure, and gave me a new updated sticker since my car after 6 months, did not require an oil change after all! Seniors, this is, most definitely, the place to come to for reliable car service! Thank you, Terrence, for making each of your customers feel valued and appreciated!!!
