Oil Change in Dayton OH 45458 - Take 5 #878

I have never received such a detailed oil change from any other auto business than the one that that Craig and Colton gave me. The fact that they told me my Yukon takes 6 quarts instead of 5. Actually showed me my oil filter. Explained the freon level which was a little below the suggested level. This level of service is something I have never received from Grismer or Jiffy Lube. I normally go to the customer lounge and they call me when my car is ready and explain after not before. In fact, Colton even wiped my hood off after he closed my hood. Great job guys!!!

I take my newer cars to the dealer for service but for my older cars I use the drive up quick oil change places. This Take 5 was new to me and I was concerned they would make fun of my 26 year old grand marquis and call me an idiot for buying it. However, they did quite the opposite. They were very complementary of my car and treated my car with the same care I would have. They even helped me pick the proper oil for my car understanding those older fords sometimes have oil pressure quirks.

Experienced a large oil leak while traveling 2 hours north of my home and pulled into take 5 to investigate. District manager Jesse himself did investigate and found that last oil change the filter was over tightened and actually cracked as well as over filled. He offered to replace oil filter and drain oil to proper level since it was very recent oil change. I opted for him to perform full change since I no longer trusted last service. After this he found a cracked transmission oil line. This is where they went above and beyond. Since the service was not something that take 5 did he call and got me some help as I was stranded. The mechanic that came to help was actually another take 5 employee who had finished his shift at another store and came to help as he was actually a mechanic. Jesse helped me locate parts which were 10 miles away so he arranged a ride for me to secure parts. When Josh Walters the off duty employee showed up my situation became increasingly brighter. These two young men are amazing as they helped me in a terrible situation. Take 5 will be my go too every time if this is the caliber of employees you continue to have. Truly amazed

I have a new favorite oil changing spot. . the entire crew from the wonderful gentleman that handled me mostly and the management were wonderful! Fantastic attitudes. Wonderful demeanors made me feel super welcome. Explain things to me. Didn't make me feel dumb. Allowed me to ask questions. Suggested the right things without being pushy. They did their jobs just perfect as they should. No notes. If you want to go someplace for an oil change that is quick. Will make you feel good about your decisions in life and will leave feeling better than you did when you arrived. You should come here no doubt 🤘🏼

Excellent service! I went in for an oil change, and the experience was top-notch. The staff is very professional, but what really made the difference was the service from David; he is super friendly and takes the time to explain everything to you honestly. It’s hard to find places where you feel so well taken care of and confident. Highly recommended!
