Oil Change in Boutte, LA at Take 5 #10

I usually handle all my own maintenance, but this time I decided to take a break from changing my own oil and try Take 5. I had a good experience.

I use Take 5 for all oil changes. But on my Frontier, accessing the cabin filter required removing screws… something no other Take 5 tech was comfortable executing. Nate at this location confidently said he could make sure we checked the cabin filter. He carefully removed the screws, popped the fasteners, and was able to access the filter. It desperately needed changing. He was honest and said that 6 months ago, he probably would have been reluctant to do this, afraid of messing up the fasteners. But his experience allowed him to proceed. He explained how to properly replace the filter should I opt to do myself. He also detailed how I should be aware of the rear differential oil change at 50k miles. Really awesome experience. Thanks, Nate and crew.

Service at Take 5 Oil Change was great as always! The guys are consistently helpful, informative, and make the whole process quick and easy. Nathan and Jadon did a fantastic job! I really appreciate Nathan taking the time to answer my questions and show me how to access my cabin filter. (I had tried going to Walmart, but they shut down early due to being short-staffed and not having certified mechanics. Kind of glad they were, since I got my oil change and bottled water while relaxing in my car and not waiting an hour or more wandering Walmart!)
