Oil Change in Wichita, KS at 200 S Rock Rd

Great experience this time. 5 months ago, not so much. Now, I went and read some of the other reviews. This was a totally different crew than 5 months ago. Christiaan gave us the biggest smile when we pulled in! They did wash my windshield, the new store manager even came and talked with me this time. I like to give businesses a chance at redemption. This location truly redeemed themselves!!

Trenton and Bryce were very attentive and helpful! I told them about the horrible experience I had with Jiffy Lube, right before coming in to Take 5. Jiffy Lube advised they would first have to charge me $1300 to change my cooling pan before they could even attempt to change my oil. Jiffy then proceed to say that since their guys have sooo much “experience” with the task of changing the cooling pan they could do me a solid and “only” charge me $950 to get it done. According to their “experts” there was just NO WAY my oil change could be done unless this was completed. Unfortunately for them I was not born yesterday, I made my way over to Take 5. I figured the worst that could happen is they tell me the same thing. So I come in, I don’t explain anything to see if I’ll be told it’s a real issue. 15 minutes go by and I’m told I’m good to go. I asked Trenton to be 100% honest and asked if he encountered any issues whatsoever when changing my oil, he said “no, it was just a routine oil change”. I’m sure he found my question strange so he asked why. I told him the experience I had 20 minutes earlier at Jiffy Lube and he was in disbelief. He explained to me the checks they do in regards to the cooling pan to which he then confirmed mine didn’t raise any alarms. Needless to say both Trenton and Bryce were super helpful, I’ll definitely be returning to Take 5

Got me through pretty quickly first thing on a Saturday morning. Loved hearing them call out all the checks. Will definitely be my new oil change spot moving forward.

Marcus was very welcoming. Brought us cold waters for everyone in the car. Clearly communicated the service options and answered my questions graciously. The manager stopped by to praise our decision to take advantage of their check up/top off services between oil changes. We were in and out quickly. It was a great experience.

The techs were friendly and knowledgeable. I was greeted with a bottle of water and after a quick under the hood check, I was directed to proceed into the bay. Once there, the techs checked for previous visit and asked if I wanted to make any changes. They also checked the air filter and gave me the option to keep or continue use. No high pressure sales, the techs do a double check to ensure the filter and plug are tight with no leaks. Is a great experience and done quickly.
