So I went to go get my oil change and towards the end of the procedure they usually put the dipstick in to check the oil and come back and show it to you while I was watching them between the gap of the hood And I noticed they were talking to each other, and I saw one of the employees lift up the dipstick and then he came and showed it to me so I told him can you clean it and do it again so then I told him, but don’t tilt the dipstick straight up bring bring me the dipstick level so he did it and when he did that, The dipstick showed that it was half a quart low. Sometimes you gotta watch these workers. It was disappointing because it’s a new place in Portland, Texas and for them to try to tilt the dipstick so he can go from Half a quart low to show that it’s on the full mark it’s just unacceptable.
It was a very pleasant experience. Joshua and Cayden were very professional and conscientious. Cayden explained everything to me that she was doing. She asked about the air conditioning filter. She had to climb into the car to get it as it was under the console. I worried she would hurt her back.
This was the quickest, friendliest, easy oil change I have ever had! I love how I was able to stay in my car. The facility was very clean, which is more than I can say for many "stay-in-your-car" oil change businesses. The price was reasonable for the speed of service and being able to stay in my vehicle. I also thought them offering a free bottle of water as part of the service was a nice touch. I am very pleased with my experience, and I will most likely be back!
The staff were all super courteous and knowledgeable. Manager was very kind and I could see in real time his teaching to other employees when they asked questions or needed guidance. Had my oil changed, both air filters changed, and my windshield wipers replaced at a GREAT cost. All these reasons are exactly why I always choose Take 5. Everyone is doing a great job, keep it up!
