On 4/11/2026 I had my oil changed. The first to greet me was Jadan W. He was very personable. He introduced himself and gave me water which may be apart of his job to do,but what made this interaction amazing was he made me believe he wanted me there. He was upbeat,clear in his speaking and he has a friendly energy. Next person I encountered was Desmond. He was incharge of safety. He greeter me upon me entering the bay. He and the technician couldn't start my service right away. He explained to me that they would be right with me after the other car that was there. The best part about this he asked me before he did anything. For example he ask me can he open the door to read the sticker that they scan (I dont know the name of said sticker). I love that Desmond made me feel comfortable. we chatted the whole time and he was still able to do his job. Good multitasking skills. John Jr was the technician we didn't interact much, but what I did see was someone in a role something like mentorship. He coached Desmond through certain task . He was calm a respectful in his speaking. He didn't show any sign or irritability when asked to assist with a task. He seem really knowledgeable and gave the information freely. Not everyone know how to deal with young adults the way he does he was really respectful. Thank you all again. My day was made by each of you.
All the gentlemen who work at Take 5 Oil Change on Barataria were absolutely the best. Before I could even stop my car, they were there waiting with water and a warm smile. The friendliness I received was truly wonderful.
