Went in for an oil change. My first time there. Car owner stays in the car and watches everything they do! Nice! ✨️ Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. ✨️ Greeted with a bottle of water! Spoke of, showed, explained any issues found. In my case, air filters. Once oil was changed, they showed me how full it was (on the dip stick) and gave me a sticker/coupon to come in and have it topped off if it got low before the next change. Also showed me the oil they use for diesels. (I have a Jeep GC Diesel). I also had a technical problem and the main supervisor explained what the notification my car gave me meant. He suggested that I need to take my car to a dealership to fix that issue. As a veteran, a discount was applied to my total (Much appreciated) and thanked for serving. All-in-all, very pleased.
I had such a great experience at Take 5 Oil Change thanks to Devon (Hood), Chance (Pit), and Ryan (Safety, Service Writer & MoD). From the second I pulled up, the energy was professional, friendly, and efficient.
My experience with the Take5 oil change center in South Cedar Rapids was amazing! Ryan and Olivia were both extremely nice and helpful! They made me feel like I actually mattered to them. And you don’t get that kind of service anymore. My nephew Jeffrey took me to get my oil changed before he leaves to go back to Oregon because he didn’t want me to get taken advantage of. My nephew is an auto mechanic so Ryan and my nephew explained to me everything that they were doing. And I even learned that my car is equipped with a Cabin Filter that filters the air coming in through my vents when I am using the Air Conditioning and heater. And when Ryan replaced it, I couldn’t believe how dirty it was. I would have never guessed that my car is equipped with this filter. And we were in and out in under 20 minutes. always great to go to take 5, complimentary water bottle is amazing, service is excellent, get to hang out in the car and watch professionals do their job well. normally in des moines, but when i’m in iowa city for university i always take the trip to cedar rapids cause I know what’s good. I don’t know names but everyone I interacted with was very friendly, courteous, and respectful. 5 stars every time :)

I want to shout out the 17 year old who is working and doing his best day in and out to become the youngest ASM in the company!! If you need a quick change this place is worth the dollar.
