As always they were fast and efficient as well as polite & helpful. There were only two ppl working and empty stalls, the person in charge was training the other person. And he showed me how to reset my cars oil change reminder. Which was a first since, I had bought the car and reached the mileage point of not qualifying for free changes with the dealer.
I have been going to the Take 5 on Court Street in Pekin since they opened and they offered coupons. The service is always great and the employees are professional. To be honest, I keep up on my oil changes when there are good deals like 30-50% off coupons. I appreciate just about everything that the employees do but I wish they wouldn't try to sell me a cabin filter or an air filter every time I go there. If they would ask me once a year or even every other year, it would be better. My family has multiple cars and I can't keep track of which vehicle needs a new filter and which one doesn't. I also would like them to check the air in my tires every time. They used to do this but now they ask.
Employees were very kind and communicated very well. I saw a young man being taught every step of the way and everyone was contributing to teaching him each position it seemed. My only issue was it was very expensive. I drive a heavy duty pickup so I expect it to cost more but this was the most I have ever paid for just and oil change/filter change and standard fluids/safety inspection.
I went to get an oil change on 2-20-26 it was around 6ish. I always come to this location as it’s closer to my home. This visit I had 2 new gentleman working on my car. Both gents were really awesome and fast. I hope the 2 guys stay at this location as they were better than the other crew that used to be there.
If you wanted the best place with the least amount of pressure and the most amount of repair done, check these buds out! They helped me keep things healthy and guided me through everything step by step, and the team was very courteous from start to finish. For the service costs, it actually wasn't terrible or overpriced either. And I was done so quick that I still made it on time for where I had to go.
