The losers at the last oil change I went to over torqued the drain plug, which could have potentially been a real issue if Take 5 had tried to change it out. They correctly diagnosed the issue and suggested I go and had that taken care of at a real mechanic to prevent long term issues with the vehicle. In the meantime they let me use their restroom, cleaned my windows, and performed a pressure test on the oil pan and drain plug. Throughout the process, you could hear how professional this group was on how they went through everything. They were in constant communication with each other, making sure no step in the process was missed.

My check oil light came on when I was in Hattiesburg, and I was going to wait until I got back to Columbia, but since Take 5 Oil was close by, I figured I'd give them a try. When I got there, Mr. Jacob greeted me. He asked what I needed, and I told him an oil change. At Take 5, I didn't have to get out of the car before services were performed. I like that because other places I've been to, I have to hand over the key and get out to get services. While he was changing the oil, he offered to check my filters and other stuff on my car. What makes Take 5 different is how upfront they are about what they're doing to your car, like showing you the oil levels, how dirty your filters are, and all that. They give out water while you're waiting, which is a bonus. No other places I've been have done that. I'll definitely be back.

All the fellas were excellent! They were working nonstop together as a well cohesive team not only to get everyone taken care of but also to ensure all their customers stayed hydrated by bringing constant cold water bottles to everyone. Jacob was amazing! He assisted me in making an informed decision on my air filter that had some oil in it affecting the air intake of my truck. I also added the fuel injection cleaner. The price was fantastic and they have wonderful coupons for additional savings. I’ll be back for sure & recommend everyone else does too!

Jacob was very helpful even though my car was giving him so many problems. He went over the different blend of oil to get and prices. Unfortunately my plug was stripped and he couldn't get it out, and he tried everything he could so I could get my oil changed. He def went above and beyond the usual I'm sure. Highly recommend this place to others and will continue coming back to give y'all business. Keep up the great work!
